This piece is designed with the idea of working like using a knife to sharpen your pencil.

The Design won a Precious Metal Bursary from the Goldsmiths Centre allowing it to be made of solid sterling silver.

Functioning in a farcical and expedient way to sharpen just the very tip of the lead, the piece creates a long winded approach to an everyday task
